I can’t sleep. Wah.

Why is it that I’m so damn tired yet I still can’t sleep? After last night’s freak out, which wore out my already exhausted self, I thought for sure that I would be out cold and possibly even sleep through the night. Ha. I slept for an hour. 60 minutes. WTH?!

Oh well. Moving on.

Today is the 1 month mark to my birthday. My twenties...are numbered. T minus 31 days. Good grief.  I’m sure once it actually happens I’ll be fine but getting there is going to be difficult. It already has been. Over the last few weeks I’ve literally found myself stopping dead in my tracks pondering how I got here. So soon? really? I’m making a big deal out of nothing, I know. I know I know I know but still, 30 already? 

I could use another month or two I think.

I found this via Dig this morning. Some of the suggestions made complete sense to me, in fact I’m feeling a little dumb for not having some numbers stored already. I’ve always been one for planning and prepping for the worst case scenario but I never thought of adding my insurance or the credit card companies phone numbers to my phone. Duh.
On the flip side, A Friendly Colleague’s Direct Line? It could be just me but I can’t really see the usefulness of that one. Maybe because I’m a walking phone book when it comes to work numbers - I know everyone’s extension off the top of my head. Its one of my best talents!

Happy Easter

We celebrated Easter in a untraditional way this afternoon - at the Olive Garden with my parents and brother. The Olive Garden? Why yes! No one wanted to cook yet none of us felt like dealing with the crowds at your typical Easter brunch/dinner type restaurants. So we headed to the worst rated Italian restaurant chain in the country and it was perfect! It also kept everyone calm - no heated arguments!

I have to admit something. I love the Olive Garden. More than the Italian restaurants in the North End. I’m not saying I hated the restaurants I’ve been to in the North End, I’m just saying I prefer the Olive Garden…

So why am I admitting this? Because when I’m asked where I want to go for my birthday or even anniversaries, I pick the Olive Garden with the excuse that its the only place the husband will eat at without cringing. Hes a slightly picky eater but that excuse isn’t exactly true yet, I still blame him to hide my shame. I’m nice like that
