Close call
Came close to forgetting about this tonight. Oops.
Came close to forgetting about this tonight. Oops.
It might have been due to the lack of sleep but I found this to be oh so very funny when I saw this last weekend.
And I am. The 5 embarrassing songs on my iPod that played tonight while at the gym:
5. Debbie Gibson - Only In My Dreams
4. Hilary Duff - So Yesterday
3. Miley Cyrus - See You Again
2. Ini Kamoze - Here Comes the Hotstepper
and finally
1. Nsync - Pop
I finally made chocolate cupcakes tonight, something I’ve been trying to do for the last 4 weekends.
Complete disaster. Seriously, what a waste.
Despite the fact that the toothpick came out clean (and they fact that they looked solid) on each and every cupcake, I apparently didn’t bake them long enough. What a fool, trusting a toothpick with my precious cupcakes (and what was supposed to be dinner for that matter)!
Now, had I realized this right away I would have put them back in the oven. Duh. But no, I let them cool for close to two hours before even thinking about frosting them. It was then that I realized how under baked they were. The middles sunk like a brick from the weight of the frosting (which really wasn’t all that heavy IMHO). Soupy Chocolate Blah.
So, no cupcakes for me. Just a big mess in the kitchen. Oh so very disappointing. So so so disappointing.
You know what sucks? Thinking that your spending is finally under control only to look over your bank statements and realize that you over spent. By a lot. Like, ####.## lot.
You know what sucks even more? Not knowing where all that money went. I mean, there were essentials that I’ve bought but nothing that would add up to the absurd amount of money I’ve spent in the last 4 weeks. Auggh. At least I’m helping the economy.
Time wise, this week has sucked. Well. Yeah.

I’m so done with winter. Seriously.
Lost indeed…
What should I be more embarrassed about:
The fact that I own all but the final season of Gilmore Girls or the fact that I own a season of The Hills?

I used to complain that I watch more TV than I should. I’m going to hold back on that tonight because TV probably saved me from a really bad decision. Good grief, thats sad.
Any who.
In preparation for my regularly scheduled hair appointment, I’ve spent the last 5 days tossing around the idea of cutting the hair I’ve been growing out for 2 years. Cut it. Don’t cut it. Cut it. Don’t cut it. It went on and on (which was silly because cutting my hair is the least of my worries right now but yet, it was how I filled my week. dork). 2 whole years to get it as long as it is now (below my shoulders) and all of a sudden I was going to cut it. I’m not talking cutting it ala Britney Spears style, but much shorter than it is now.
And then Thursday night I saw an episode of King of Queens. The episode where Carey cuts her hair short and ends up looking...like a boy and is made fun of by Robert Goulet. The question to cut or not cut was settled at that point and I have Robert Goulet’s guest appearance to thank.
On a similar note, I also have Mother Nature to thank. Because of her, I get to color my hair again!
I’m not even 30 yet. Wah.
K, thanks.
Mhh. Never mind.
